There’s something poetic about three Gran Canarian artists returning to reinterpret one of their own — especially under a label like Lost In Reverie, whose mission from the start has been to elevate mood-based, narrative electronic music.
With “Nothingness Remixes”, Nau Squaglia invites Carlos Sánchez, C.E.S.M., and Voosen not just to remix, but to dialogue with the original. What emerges is a study in contrast and cohesion. Sánchez’s version leans into low-slung hypnosis, transforming vocal tone and chordal character. C.E.S.M. chooses to disrupt, injecting percussive friction and tight edits. Voosen, finally, lets light in — a remix that feels like closure, or maybe clarity.
There’s no showboating, no trend-chasing. Just three mature voices engaging with silence, space, and the ghosts of melody.
