‘Satisfy My Soul’ Arrives As David Penn’s Latest Single

David Penn, Spanish house music master and #1 ranking Beatport House Music Artist of all time (Source: Beatstats), has released summer anthem ‘Satisfy My Soul’ on his own Urbana Recordings. Merging the classic 90s M1 organ with a sample unearthed deep from Penn’s personal library, this already tried-and-tested new single encapsulates this talented artist’s three-decade career – contagious energy, superb production, and an uncanny ability to lift the dancefloor. A true house music pioneer, Penn’s passion, enthusiasm, and infectious trademark grin are synonymous with his DJ sets worldwide. One of the most consistent and authentic house music artists of all time, the last 18 months saw a slew of releases such as his huge collab ‘Just Stay The Night’ with Vintage Culture and Raphaella (exclusively for Defected Records’ XXV anniversary album), and the landmark 30th anniversary revamp of his beloved crossover classic ‘Nighttrain’ under his Kadoc guise, originally released in 1995 selling 2m+ vinyl copies worldwide. These came alongside releases on prestigious imprints Golden, Toolroom, PIAS, Jackies and Fool’s Paradise.

New single ‘Satisfy My Soul’ emerged when Penn rediscovered a vintage organ sample from his personal sample library that had remained untouched for years. He paired it with the iconic M1 organ – a classic 90s sound – layered in 90s-inspired drums and built a demo.

From that point, as Penn recalls, everything moved incredibly fast. “I knew straight away there was something special about it,” he explains. From the first time I roadtested it at Madam in Amsterdam, people began approaching me in the booth mid-set to ask for the track ID! Since then, it’s received an amazing reaction everywhere I’ve played it. Most recently, I dropped it at Amnesia for Glitterbox and Jackie’s in Barcelona, as well as on the main stage at Ibiza Pride in the port of Eivissa and again at Club Chinois that same night. I can’t wait to see how people respond once they really get to know the track.”

Clubbers should keep an ear pinned for ‘Satisfy My Soul’ during Penn’s relentless 2026 touring schedule, which takes in festivals and clubs across the Czech Republic, Jersey, Spain, Croatia, the Netherlands, UK and beyond, including multiple Ibiza dates (Glitterbox, Chinois and La Troya) and Beats 4 Love, Defected Malta, Out There and Love to be Festivals.
