Berko Fields Reveals Surprise Experience For September Festival

Festivalgoers at Hertfordshire’s most exciting new festival, Berko Fields, will be treated to an unforgettable addition to the lineup this September. Initially teased as a ‘surprise immersive experience’, Berko Fields has revealed that the Friday (Fish56Octagon) and Saturday (Symphonica Orchestra) headline sets will be accompanied by an incredible 400-drone aerial display choreographed to the music. The huge wave of drones will rise from behind the main stage at Berkhamsted Cricket Club to fill the sky with an unmissable and awe-inspiring climax to a fantastic day of music, dancing, and entertainment. Running from Friday 11th – Sunday 13th September, Berko Fields will take the crowds to another dimension as it earns a well-deserved place on the annual festival calendar. Tickets remain on sale at www.berkofields.co.uk.

The dazzling drone display will rise in sync with the headline sets as they reach their peak — on Friday night during Fish56Octagon’s closing chapter of The House Takeover, and on Saturday as Symphonica Orchestra build towards the finale of their Ibiza Classics performance. As they dance, the crowds can expect to be wowed by huge, ultra-vivid, large-scale formations – unique 3D shapes and images that will shift and evolve before their eyes, creating a unique multi-sensory experience. This is the sort of display you’d expect to see at a much larger festival than Berko Fields, creating a very special experience for those lucky enough to attend.

Four hundred drones moving in coordinated formation against the night sky is a spectacle that commands attention wherever it appears. At Berko Fields, set against the natural darkness of the Chilterns and in the company of thousands of people already fully immersed in the music, the effect is spectacular – a collision of light, sound and open sky that will deliver two of the most talked about headline sets of this summer.

People will travel from far and wide to experience the drone extravaganza alone, but add this extra dimension to a world-class lineup of electronic music from Fish56Octagon, DJ SKT, BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard and Symphonica Orchestra, a family-focused finale on Sunday 13th from Raver Tots headlined by So Solid Crew and Artful Dodger, and a carefully curated street food line-up, with local traders spanning everything from smashed burgers to sourdough pizza, and you have the most ambitious and unmissable new festival in the region. Berko Fields is now a weekender that sets a new benchmark for festivals in Hertfordshire and beyond.

Tickets for Berko Fields, including VIP packages, are on sale now at www.berkofields.co.uk. Friday from £25 (18+); Saturday from £5 for under-12s and £37 for adults (all ages); Sunday from £20 for adults (all ages). Weekend tickets from £94.05.
