Bubba Brothers: From Duo Energy to Solo Power

“Life goes on, and I will be even more creative and powerful — on and off stage.”

After years of performing as a duo, Bubba Brothers enters a new chapter with strength, confidence, and groove still intact. His latest release I Wanna Do It With U continues the project’s legacy of high-energy rhythms and dancefloor-ready beats, while setting the stage for a solo vision with global ambitions.
From the evolution of his label Mossdeb Sounds to a growing bond with Vicious Magazine, this conversation dives into the transitions, challenges, and creative reinvention that define the new era of Bubba Brothers.

Going from duo to solo — what’s been the most unexpected challenge?
Hi, and thank u for this chat. Well, it was a long time sharing the stage and the feeling after all this time is strange, to be honest. But that’s life, and I need to move on stronger than ever 🙂

What sets “I Wanna Do It With U” apart from your previous work?
I think I have maintained my style — with strong beats and drops and highly danceable rhythms… well, Bubba Brothers style 🙂

How would you describe the current aesthetic of Bubba Brothers in 3 words?
Groove, Dance, Enjoy.

Why keep the name Bubba Brothers instead of starting fresh?
We have thousands of fans following us for many years now, and the brand is known worldwide. It took us a long time to get to that point, so it would be stupid to kill something so great.

What goals do you have for Mossdeb Sounds this year?
My idea is to launch new talents and also continue to partner up with great DJs like I did with Ten Walls, for example.

How did the connection with Vicious come about, and what are you building together?
Vicious is one of the most important magazines on the planet. Also, they promote their own events, so of course, playing at these events is amazing and helps create a bond.

What excites you more right now: studio time or playing live?
Playing live… always 🙂

How do you select tracks for your DJ sets today?
I listen about 5–6 hours to different music on YouTube, Spotify, etc. every day. I need about 40 to 50 hours to choose 1 track to put on a lineup. Minimum.

What’s something you’ve learned recently that changed how you work?
Well, I have learned to be patient… it hasn’t always been like that 🙂

What’s one thing you want promoters and fans to understand about this new chapter?
Life goes on, and I will be even more creative and powerful on and off stage.
