Landing just in time for summer, Discrete chops and layers Notelle’s warm, intimate vocals, combining them with bright piano and a similarly sharp, skippy, breaks-infused dance beat to create exhilarating, end-of-the-night euphoria.
It’s the first offering from female founded NYC-based 146 Records, a new record label set to lead the new wave of independent dance labels, powered by the unparalleled vision and proven success of Gina Tucci, one of the most accomplished A&R leaders in global dance music, who helped break global acts such as Skrillex, Robin Schulz, Clean Bandit and Joel Corry, was the previous head of A&R at Big Beat Records, and recognised 4 times by Billboard Magazine as a “Power Player” in the dance music industry. Also boasting over 150 million streams, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Notelle is a go-to name in the dance world. A powerful, adaptable topliner, she’s worked on tracks released on major labels like Warner, Sony, Spinnin’, Ultra, Armada, and Insomniac, with her writing and vocals hitting everything from festival mainstages to Disney+ syncs. She’s penned tracks with Grammy-winners, topped Splice with her vocal pack ‘Nocturnal’, and soundtracked ads for Lexus. In 2022, she won the Grand Prize at the International Songwriting Competition with her single ‘Sufjan Stevens,’ beating out over 21,000 entries and joining previous winners Adrianne Lenker (Big Thief), Gregory Porter, Gotye and many more household names.
