Josh Hunter & BBT Release ‘Pick Me Up’ feat. Jennifer: An Anthemic Hit on Perfect Havoc

Josh Hunter and BBT kick off 2025 with their vibrant new single, ‘Pick Me Up,’ out now on Perfect Havoc. Featuring the soulful vocals of Jennifer, this track combines atmospheric production with driving basslines and uplifting melodies. The result is a club-ready anthem that showcases the duo’s ability to craft music that resonates both on and off the dancefloor. Download/stream here: https://perfecthavoc.lnk.to/pickmeup.

‘Pick Me Up’ stems from a shared reflection on the connections that shape our lives. Josh Hunter explains, “When we wrote ‘Pick Me Up,’ we were reflecting on how people come and go in our lives. Some individuals leave such a lasting impression that they never truly fade away. You often find yourself sharing your biggest achievements and worries with them. That’s the essence of ‘Pick Me Up’—it’s about those special people who remain part of your journey, even when you can’t see them anymore.”

Josh Hunter’s career has been on a steep rise, having co-written Gorgon City’s hit single ‘Never Let Me Down.’ With releases on labels like Good Company and Love & Other, he’s gained consistent support from leading DJs and tastemakers in the industry.

BBT brings his unique energy to the collaboration. With over a decade of experience in Liverpool’s music scene, his performances—blending DJing with live percussion—have taken him to renowned venues such as O Beach Ibiza and Nikki Beach. His ability to energise crowds is reflected in the vibrant sound of ‘Pick Me Up.’

Jennifer’s striking vocal performance elevates the track further. Known for her powerful voice, she has worked with major names, including Robbie Williams, and has performed at iconic venues like Wembley. Her live rendition of ‘Pick Me Up’ at The Grand National last summer was met with rave reviews.

Released on the trailblazing label Perfect Havoc, known for its UK Top 20 hits and over 11 billion streams, ‘Pick Me Up’ reinforces its reputation for delivering contemporary, genre-defying dance music.
