Love to be Takes Over NYC Rooftop with Martin Ikin in Command

Love to be, one of the UK’s longest running house music brands, promises a sizzling and unforgettable rooftop party when it touches down at The Summer Club on Sunday August 3rd. It brings a headline set from UK house music legend, Martin Ikin, and Love to be’s very own Trimtone aka founder Tony Walker and resident Marc Dennis. With panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline atop the Ravel Hotel, this sun-drenched afternoon mixes quality beats with carefree vibes, and the unrelenting energy of one of tech house’s most in-demand artists. Tickets are on sale now, priced from $21.60 via Dice.

With a legacy spanning three decades, Love to be… is a name that commands respect across the global dance community. Originating in Sheffield’s Music Factory in 1994, the brand helped shape UK club culture with trailblazing events and iconic lineups from Frankie Knuckles to Masters At Work. Now operating a global radio show and record label, Love to be… continues its mission: uniting generations on the dancefloor through quality house music and unforgettable parties.

Bringing that mission stateside, they tap stellar producer and DJ Martin Ikin, previously known as DJ Mayhem, Soul Purpose, Indigo and Migrant. Ikin’s infectious grooves and studio finesse have earned remix credits for Mariah Carey, Jamiroquai, and Claptone, and releases on such vital labels as BlackBook, Repopulate Mars, and Toolroom. As the top-selling tech house artist on Beatport two years on the bounce, and a live performer with jazz piano roots, Ikin blends club mastery with musical sophistication like no other.

Ikin’s performance will only be amplified by the arrival of Trimtone. Known for high-energy multi-deck sets and big-room productions, they’ve rocked dancefloors everywhere from Ministry of Sound London and Pacha Ibiza. With a reputation for bringing quality house music to the world’s most iconic venues for over 30 years, Trimtone are the perfect addition to any party.

The Summer Club, perched at the height of Long Island City’s Ravel Hotel, is NYC’s ultimate summer playground — a vibrant rooftop escape featuring a pool, stunning views, premium cabanas, and an open-air lawn buzzing with feel-good vibes. Party goers, be sure to don the swimwear attire and soak up the rhythm in style.

This global tour stop is one of many for Love to be in 2025. As if 30 dates around the world in 2024 from Miami to Sydney wasn’t enough, the trailblazing party crew will also touch down in Greece with Yacht Week, at 528 in Ibiza, and back on UK soil for its annual festival to send off the summer in style. For more information on all Love to be events, visit: https://www.lovetobeevents.co.uk.
