New from Todd Terry & Trimtone: ‘Fire In The House’

Long-standing UK house imprint, Love to be, welcomes the legendary Todd Terry to the label in a sound clash with label stalwarts, Trimtone, for the release of hot new single, ‘Fire In The House’.  Remixed by Todd Terry himself, one of the most influential figures in house music history, this killer summer cut lands on 20th June. Built for packed dancefloors and late-night sessions, the Todd Terry remix of ‘Fire In The House’ is explosive. Trimtone’s mark can be felt with their classic house energy, while Todd brings his signature sound of tough drums, chopped vocals and a driving swing that instantly connects. This is just a taster of what’s to come with the original mixes set for release on Todd’s iconic Freeze Records later this year.

Already supported by Roger Sanchez, Sam Divine, Robert Owens and Allister Whitehead, the release has climbed into the Traxsource Weekend Weapons, Hype Chart, and Essential House Chart, setting it up as a proper summer club weapon.

Trimtone – aka Tony Walker and Marc Dennis – are long-time players in the global scene. Known for high-energy multi-deck sets and big-room productions, they’ve rocked dancefloors everywhere from Space Ibiza, Ministry of Sound and Fabric to Amnesia, Pacha and beyond. As artists and founders of the seminal Love to be… club brand, they’ve built a reputation for bringing quality house music to the world’s most iconic venues for over 30 years, while their production has landed on label heavyweights Armada, Toolroom, Nervous, Salted Music, Simma Black and more.

Todd Terry’s involvement in this single marks another chapter in a remarkable career. From shaping the New York house sound in the ‘80s to remixing crossover hits like ‘Missing’ and ‘Keep On Jumpin’, Terry remains a creative powerhouse. His work continues to influence generations of producers, DJs and clubbers across the world.
