Runemark Records welcomes Spanish producer and engineer Occipital with Epiphany, a release shaped by the tension between human emotion and electronic machinery.
Occipital has spent years developing instruments and exploring the possibilities of hands-on electronic performance. His work includes the widely acclaimed OXI One sequencer, a machine that also plays an important role in the raw and authentic character of this new production.
The original mix of Epiphany moves between progressive house, melodic techno and deeper club territory. Its force comes from the contrast at its centre: the production feels aggressive, yet its melodies introduce a clear sense of melancholy. The result is a hypnotic and emotionally charged groove designed for the deeper hours of the night.
Rather than separating technology from expression, Occipital treats the studio as an extension of his musical identity. The machines never become the final objective; they are tools used to create tension, movement and a stronger emotional connection with the dancefloor.
Ten Walls delivers the accompanying remix, reworking the melodic progressions and bassline with his own distinctive touch. The new version pushes the track into a different space while keeping the soul and atmosphere of Occipital’s original intact.
Together, the two versions form a concise but confident statement. One introduces Occipital’s artistic language, while the other demonstrates how naturally that language can be reinterpreted without losing its personality.
With the OXI Instruments brand now firmly established behind him, Epiphany represents Occipital’s return to the studio, to record labels and to the original creative motivation behind everything else.
Epiphany was released on August 28, 2026, through Runemark Records.
