Pier Mood Sharpens the Underground Vision on Shadow In Stereo

Closing out 2025, Pier Mood delivers Shadow In Stereo, a focused three-track EP released via Mood Nation, the imprint he leads from Barcelona. Dropping digitally on December 19th, 2025, the release captures the essence of the label’s underground philosophy with clarity and restraint.

Built around a fluid dialogue between deep tech and deep house, Shadow In Stereo avoids excess and opts instead for subtle groove construction and refined minimalism. The EP moves with intention rather than urgency, shaped by low-end precision, stripped-back rhythms and a strong sense of spatial control. It’s club-oriented music, but equally suited to late-night listening where detail matters.

The title track sets the tone with a clean, hypnotic framework that slowly unfolds, while “Easy Days” leans into warmer textures without losing its underground edge. “Euphoric Touch” closes the EP on a deeper, emotive note, maintaining cohesion while adding a slightly more melodic layer to the narrative.

Inspired by the energy surrounding Mood Nation’s ADE showcase, Shadow In Stereo feels like a concise statement rather than a transitional release. It reinforces Pier Mood’s trajectory following releases on labels such as Expmental Records and Trax, and positions Mood Nation confidently as it looks ahead to 2026.
