Washington-based talent ÜDORĀ drops colossal afro tech with a message on his new single ‘You Gotta Let Go’, releasing through DAFUk Müzik on February 28th.
‘You Gotta Let Go’ centres around a percussive afrotech beat, smothered in sinister growling synth swells and a domineering pitched-down voice, telling dancers: “You gotta let go, swallow your pride. You gotta let go, now put ‘em aside”. The combination is a powerful message to listeners, to put their differences aside and unite through the movement of dance.
Since making his debut in 2024, ÜDORĀ has quickly earned recognition from some of the big names in afro house and beyond, including the likes of Keinemusik and Onfaya, who supported his infectious track, ‘Deceiving’ (Stream/buy here), from his November EP, Life Lessons.
