‘So Fly’: FLETCH’s Debut LP Lands on South Records

After a breakout 2024 – topping Beatport’s charts on ANOTR’s No Art imprint just two days post-release and racking up 1 million Spotify streams – UK underground house talent FLETCH launches into 2025 with his debut LP, ‘So Fly’, out now on South Records. Marking the label’s first-ever long-form release, the seven-track album showcases his signature deep, groovy house sound, complete with a remix from Romanian powerhouse Mihai Popoviciu. Founded by George Smeddles, South Records has rapidly become a hub for cutting-edge house music, home to tracks from Rooléh, Luke Dean, Prunk, Toman, RUZE, and more, alongside George himself. Blending rich musicality with undeniable dancefloor energy, the label continues to push boundaries—and ‘So Fly’ is no exception.

A slick fusion of Chicago, New York, disco, funk, and soul, the album moves effortlessly between late-night burners, peak-time rollers, and groove-heavy cuts built for the club. FLETCH delivers punchy rhythms, analogue warmth, and a refined sense of style, while Mihai Popoviciu adds his signature finesse to the mix, sealing the release with a distinctive remix.

FLETCH’s ability to weave nostalgic influences into a fresh, contemporary sound has earned him consistent backing from The Martinez Brothers, Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, ANOTR, Joseph Capriati, and more. He’s already made his mark globally, with standout sets across South America, the Middle East, and Europe. BBC Radio 1 tastemakers Sarah Story and Danny Howard have dubbed him “one to watch”—and ‘So Fly’ only reinforces the hype.

From the sensual late-night flow of ‘Move’ to the high-energy grooves of ‘So Fly’ and the euphoric lift of ‘Night Time Falling’, this LP is a statement release that cements FLETCH’s place in the underground house elite.
