The Yard Turns Up the Heat with Summer Parties at XOYO

Following the sold-out opening weekend of XOYO Birmingham’s outdoor space The Yard, the Digbeth venue now unveils the next wave of summer day-parties to take place between 19 July and 13 September. The programme sees various local and national brands host all-day events in one of the few dedicated, open-air spaces to party in the city. Music lovers can expect everything from afro-house and carnival to house and UK garage, and the promise of unforgettable summer vibes in a chic urban setting.

On Saturday 19 July, ChopShop will transform The Yard with its Summertime Jersey Party where the sports jersey dress code is a must. From 4pm until late, live PA sets from Trilla Jermaine Trilloski and S.G aka Captain GreyBeard will fuel the fun, alongside a mega lineup of DJs to keep the sound system energy soaring, including Smila, MistaGlitch, Bobby Noodlez, DJ Surgery, Diamond Cut and Immortal Sound

Back by popular demand, Cookout returns to Birmingham on Saturday 26 July, this time taking over The Yard with its Summer Open-Air Carnival. Expect to dance under the sun to a non-stop soundtrack of carnival anthems from icons like Vybz Kartel, Popcaan, Shenseea, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido. With flowing cocktails and infectious rhythms from 3pm – 10pm, prepare to wine, skank and sweat until the sun goes down.

The vibes continue into August on Saturday 2nd when Rinse FM joins forces for an epic Yard party with Birmingham’s Sum Cellar as it celebrates 10 Years. Showcasing UK garage, grime and bass music, headliners Bakey and Sir Spyro lead a heavyweight lineup that also features Smerk64, Sox, DH, Trappy, Felix Dubs, M Hunny, Ringers, Cola B, Jack Bagshaw and MS Mace. Doors open at 3pm for an afternoon of pirate-radio heritage and cutting-edge beats delivered through The Yard’s quality surround sound system.

Rounding off the summer on Saturday 13 September is new event brand, Gallery, with its simple aim to bring forward-thinking, quality lineups to the floor. The Gallery’s debut open-air day party spotlights two of the most exciting talents in house and garage, Morgan Seatree and In Parallel. Their precision grooves and layered selections will be supported by Shorterz B2B Defect, Lleah Davies, OJE, Kezz and Clarkey B2B Sam Lawson. Expect to connect through impeccable sounds and genuine energy.

A sprawling 650-capacity open-air playground, The Yard is set to transform Birmingham’s summer scene. With a cutting-edge 360-degree surround-sound system poised to deliver crystal-clear melodies from every corner, this dynamic space is a hotspot for vibrant day raves, eclectic food fests and immersive experiences.
