Captain Souk—also known as Djamil Azazna—brings an unconventional background to the rave. A former chemistry professor at Versailles University, Azazna has traded the lecture hall for the studio, presenting himself as a self-styled “rave scientist.” His debut production experiments with explosive contrasts, combining pounding reverse bass, huge screeching leads and flamboyant diva vocals from La Temptress.

Blanchard is an established name in the electronic music world, having reached the top of the Beatport charts multiple times with productions including “L’Ombre et La Lumière” under his own name and “Never Too Late,” co-produced for Any Van Mous.
