In the shadows, Swiss French artist Mosimann has been crafting the formation of Traumwerk, a dedicated underground techno project exploring the raw energy and intimacy of underground club culture.
Known globally for his melodic electronic productions and high-energy performances, Traumwerk represents an extension from Mosimann’s established output, allowing him to explore a darker, more instinctive side of his artistry through a series of carefully curated EP releases.
Inspired by the intensity of the world’s most revered underground club spaces, and the people within them, Traumwerk is a reflection of late nights, smoke-filled rooms and moments where music becomes a shared experience rather than a performance.
The project continues with two new EP releases arriving over the new two months with the first volume ‘SUMMER26_001’ releasing 24th July 2026 on Sony Music. ‘Das Bin Ich,’ meaning “this is me,” is an aptly named inner monologue of self-expression through sonics. Pressure is felt through the swelling synths, and low siren tones, clarity in the driving kicks, and momentum carried by the rise and fall of the tempo. Moving from the mind into to the body, or ‘Körper,’ sends serious vibrations around the skeletal frame through a deep jarring bassline, and penetrates the ear with its spine-tingling vocal cuts for a full-bodied thrill.
While Traumwerk originates from Mosimann’s extensive experience as a producer and DJ it exists as its own artistic realm. The project’s sonic identity has directly informed Mosimann’s debut Ibiza residency, Voulez-Vous at Cova Santa. A party championing the deeper end of French electronic music through a carefully curated line-up of underground pioneers. Only two of the four instalments remain, taking place on 8th August and 12th September, and directly opening up the dancefloor to the spirit of Traumwerk. Alongside Voulez-Vous, Mosimann’s Ibiza summer also includes a headline appearance in Amnesia’s Main Room for techno institution RESISTANCE Ibiza on 29th July, highlighting the breadth of his club-focused output.
