Nathassia Reimagines A Pop Classic For Modern Dancefloors

Following the momentum surrounding recent releases including ‘Perfect Harmony’ and its acclaimed remix package, DJ, producer and vocalist Nathassia now returns with brand new single ‘Confide In Me’. Landing on 19th June 2026 via Ginchiest Records and Black Hole Recordings, the track is inspired by the timeless mystique of Kylie Minogue’s iconic original while firmly reshaping it through Nathassia’s own melodic electronic identity. The release continues Nathassia’s creative relationship with Grammy Award-winning producer Bruce Elliott-Smith, whose celebrated songwriting catalogue includes trance legends Paul Oakenfold, ATB, and the “Princess-of-Pop” herself, Kylie Minogue.

While drawn to the subtle Indian influences of ‘Confide In Me’ and her own Indian-Surinamese heritage, it wasn’t by accident that Nathassia came to take on the Kylie single. Since her earliest releases, tastemakers have continuously compared Nathassia’s vocals to Kylie’s, one even describing Nathassia as “a darker renegade Kylie Minogue”.

“Kylie was one of my first childhood idols, so it always felt surreal,” explains Nathassia, who never heard the resemblance herself. “I honestly thought people were making the connection because Bruce won a Grammy for ‘Come Into My World’ and the Grammy literally sits on top of one of my studio speakers!” The connection finally clicked during the recording of ‘Confide In Me’ where Nathassia genuinely struggled to tell her voice apart from Kylie’s original. “It completely freaked me out because for the first time I finally understood what everybody had been talking about all these years.”

Nathassia’s stamp on ‘Confide In Me’ is elegant and raw, built around pulsating grooves, melodic layers and hypnotic detail – fitting of reflective moments and peak-time dancefloors alike. Paying homage to one of pop’s most iconic records while capturing the essence and energy of modern melodic house, Nathassia once again showcases her instinct for blending emotional depth and dancefloor energy through her own unmistakable lens.

Earlier this year, Nathassia and Bruce Elliott-Smith collaborated on ‘Perfect Harmony’, which debuted as the Highest New Entry on the UK Big Top 40 at #17 before earning support across major dance tastemaker circles including KISS Dance’s Future Anthems, Roger Sanchez and Sam Divine. Momentum surrounding the release continued through DEADLINE’s widely supported Melodic Techno remix, heavily backed by Armin Van Buuren across recent broadcasts and live plays.

Alongside her studio output, Nathassia continues to maintain a major international presence through her long-running ‘Goddess Is A DJ’ radio show, which reaches more than 10 million listeners across 140 stations in 40 countries worldwide. Combined with performances at venues including Ministry of Sound, Eden Ibiza, F38 Brazil and Nowy Harem in Poland, she continues carving out a unique identity blending Eastern vibes with Western beats.
