Reinier Zonneveld and CARV team up for explosive hardstyle collaboration “So High”

Netherlands’ most powerful forces in modern techno, Reinier Zonneveld and CARV have merged for ‘So High’ out now – a pounding yet euphoric techno release built for peak energy levels on the dancefloor.

Reinier Zonneveld, DJ MAG’s #22 DJ of the world, who’s at the forefront of performing forward-thinking live techno, emerges with a collaboration with the legendary CARV, who already proved himself with the chart topping track ‘Shot to the Brain” together with Angerfist.

Now set to return with ‘So High’, a huge closing track for festivals and club shows – packed with an earth-shaking bassline, you can feel and hear on phone speakers. The original styles full of melodies that make you feel every emotion possible – this could this be the next closing track of next years’ forthcoming festival and club period. It showcases the production mastery of CARV and his in-house collaborators, delivering a track that is both sonically immaculate and artistically daring. Soaring melodies meet relentless energy, offering a euphoric closing-track feel that captures the highs, nostalgia, and catharsis of rave culture – an experience of dancing with tears of raw, emotional, and electrifying energy.

CARV’s signature golden mask remains a symbol of his artistic philosophy: art over ego. By removing personal identity from the spotlight, CARV directs full focus to the music and the emotional space it creates. His sound blends the hardest edges of techno, hardcore, gabber, hard dance, and rave influences – aggressive yet melodic, polished yet rebellious. His breakout moment came with 2023’s “Say My Name,” followed by explosive releases such as “Ruler Vibes,” “Make You Move,” and the acclaimed Sweat and Blood EP, each pushing his sonic intensity to new heights. The artist stands at the forefront of the hard-techno resurgence, elevating the genre through fearless anonymity, artistic vision, and a commitment to music that speaks louder than the artist behind it.

Reinier and CARV prove with this release as one of the leading compelling and boundary-pushing artists in today’s hard techno movement.
