Robin M reveals ‘Oneki’ EP on Human By Default

London rising producer talent Robin M emerges with ‘Oneki’ EP released today on Human By Default.

The EP is anchored in deep, percussive grooves and threaded with Robin’s signature  late-night melodic tension – the title track ‘Oneki’ is all groove and a drum-driven trip that fuses zulu vocals to create a percussive journey with driving drops. ‘We Move’ is crafted for peak-time moments, with a more melodic progression and a mantra-like chant, which makes the dancefloor feel electric and limitless. Both atmospheric and driving, the EP leans into a sleek, modern sound – built for open-air nights and sunrise sets.

Already circulating among forward-thinking selectors, Oneki has found early support from some of the scene’s most trusted tastemakers. A fixture in recent underground sets, the EP’s immersive pulse and refined production have marked it as a standout release; an alluring showcase of Robin M’s evolving artistry.

The EP follows Robin M’s collaboration single ‘Heavy On My Mind’ with Bedouin and SKYE – who’s been captivating dance floors worldwide with his distinctive fusion of deep, percussive, and melodic house sounds. His past work includes a standout remix of Bedouin’s ‘Coldman” and two EPs released on the acclaimed Human By Default label.

A passionate crate digger with a deep love for music and connection, Robin draws creative energy from his Italian, Ethiopian, and British heritage, alongside the vibrant energy of his London upbringing. This blend gives his music authenticity, making him an exciting talent to watch. He’s the founder of fast-rising underground label Ulu Records, and is regularly played on BBC Radio 1 and supported by tastemakers like Black Coffee, Keinemusik, Shimza, and Adriatique.

Returning with his third EP on the recognised imprint, Robin M’s ‘Oneki’ marks as the final release of 2025 on Bedouin’s Human By Default.
