Dutch singer-songwriter and pop artist Sharmila has released four new songs on August 28: “Golden Heart,” “Right And Wrong,” “Human Race” and “No Music On Mars.”
Sharmila, from the Netherlands, previously performed as the opening artist for boyband O-Town in the USA.
The new release begins with “Golden Heart,” a song dedicated to her daughter Tanisha, who died in 2021.
“Right And Wrong” addresses the themes of right and wrong, good and bad. The song is about organizations and people in social work whom Sharmila says attacked her and her daughter.
With “Human Race,” Sharmila delivers the message: “Stand up for the human race.”
The fourth release, “No Music On Mars,” presents the simple idea: “There is no music on Mars. No water on Venus.”
The four songs represent different subjects and messages, from the personal story behind “Golden Heart” to broader themes of right and wrong and humanity.
